Animal Laboratory Health Technician Jobs in Texas

Other duties as assigned by management, related to customer service, merchandising and handling of products.

Provide merchandise/product knowledge to customers and recommend alternative or accessory goods.

Sell merchandise and advise customers on merchandise price and features.

Advise and assist customers in ordering specialized merchandise as needed.

Provide assistance in receiving and display merchandise in accordance with specific established policies, procedures and standards.

Answer telephones and handle routine customer telephone inquiries.

One year of relevant experience.

Changes animal caging as scheduled, sanitizing rooms, equipment and hallways.

Conducts daily animal health checks.

Ensures that activities are in compliance with AAALAC standards.

High School diploma or GED.

Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS).

Bachelor's degree from a college or university and 2-4 years business-to-business sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrates high level of proficiency in professional point of sales skills, proposal selling, and objection handling to close business.

Focuses on customer experience including investigating and resolving all customer concerns through Midmark’s support teams.

Excellent listening and communication skills

Represents complete portfolio of Midmark’s equipment and devices by performing in-person consultations, workshops, presentations and demonstrations.

Serves as the primary point of contact for all facilities and distributors within the defined territory.
