Analytical Microscopy Chemist Jobs in California

Provide technical direction to graduate students, postdocs, and research associates as appropriate, and assist in the management of research projects.

Provide users with support through your own efforts, hands-on and with your expert knowledge, in the area of electron microscopy.

Communicate with users of varying levels of experience in electron microscopy with empathy and professionalism.

Share in user-related operations, maintenance/administration, and development responsibilities within the NCEM Facility.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Research experience and an established track record working in electron microscopy research at academic, industrial, or other research institutions.

Bachelor’s degree and 2 Years of Scientific Experience

Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry lab.

Understanding, research in, and hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques, such as Liquid chromatography and gas chromatography.

Written and oral communication skills for the timely documentation, presentation, and discussion of scientific results in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, team-based environment.

Understanding of GLP and GMP requirements and their application in a phase appropriate manner.
