Can effectively communicate with upper-level management and external customers in both a written and verbal manner

Knowledge and experience with SQL a plus

Monitor and manage various system exceptions which may be impacting the business

Familiarity with the ecommerce order life cycle or prior retail experience a plus

Understand full order lifecycle and business processes in a Direct-to-Consumer retail environment

Be able to spot trends, assess and identify issues that need to be escalated to more senior team members

Requires a relevant BS degree in Computer Science or certification and/or equivalent experience.

Under the direction of more experienced staff, assists in the development of major system modules and programs.

Fully knowledgeable of programming languages, program design and specification development, programming logic, logic diagrams, testing, debugging and documentation.

Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

Python Experience is a plus at college level or project level.

In addition, the incumbent should have a good knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar’s organization."

Experience supporting or implementing Transportation Management Systems preferred.

0 – 2 years, previous business analyst or Procurement or Commodities Purchasing experience preferred.
