Overview Airports Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of airport facilities and equipment. They inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, as well as perform preventive maintenance on airport equipment. They must be knowledgeable in the use of tools, safety procedures, and regulations related to airport maintenance. Detailed Job Description Airports Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of airport facilities and equipment. They inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, as well as perform preventive maintenance on airport equipment. They must be knowledgeable in the use of tools, safety procedures, and regulations related to airport maintenance. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and be able to make repairs in a timely and efficient manner. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of airport maintenance and repair procedures
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to make repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in airport maintenance
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Knowledge of airport maintenance and repair procedures
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in airport maintenance
Job Experience
• Previous experience in airport maintenance and repair
• Previous experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
• Previous experience in using tools and equipment used in airport maintenance
