Airport Operations Officer Jobs in North Dakota

Supports all applicable requirements under all Safety Management Systems (SMS) including tasks, documentation, and written and practical tests.

Assumes operational, safety, and security responsibilities in absence of airport management.

Enforces landside parking regulations to include commercial terminal traffic management.

Maintains a working knowledge of all applicable FAR’s and Advisory Circulars.

Performs Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) duties and carries out responsibilities outlined in the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP).

Prior work experience in airport and/or airline operations preferred.

Two (2) or more years of combined education and experience or equivalent in law enforcement

Experience with city government and knowledge of police and security operations, city airport operations, and the general aviation industry

Must be P.O.S.T. certified by a State Law Enforcement Academy and have a Law Enforcement Officer Basic Course certification

Guard commercial, private, government, and Presidential aircraft while on the ground during scheduled or unscheduled flights.

Provide information and assistance to the public including vehicle location, handicap assistance, luggage, airport information.

Respond to complaints regarding stolen vehicles or property, disturbances, and other aviation-related crimes.
