Building Engineer - Commercial Properties

They may also be responsible for the installation and maintenance of new equipment and systems. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Knowledge of building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
