Building Engineer - Commercial Properties

They also inspect and maintain all airport buildings and facilities to ensure they are in good condition and functioning properly. Detailed Job Description An Airport Building Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of airport buildings and facilities. They inspect and maintain all airport buildings and facilities to ensure they are in good condition and functioning properly. They also ensure that all airport buildings and facilities are safe, secure, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. They may also be responsible for the installation and maintenance of new equipment and systems. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Knowledge of building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Certification in building maintenance or related field preferred
