Aircraft Mechanic Aviation Electrician Jobs

Minimum of 4 years' experience in the electrical field

Proven experience with 3-phase power distribution up to 480V

Knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor controls, motor repair, VFD, solid state systems, lighting, lighting controls, hydraulic and pneumatic control circuits

Experience with conduit and electrical raceways

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Experience with PLCs, relay logic and kitchen equipment

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 Years Aircraft Electrician or Airframes/Structural Maintenance experience.

Heavy mods or aircraft depot experience

Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

College degree, trade school or certification in a related field is preferred.

0-1 year experience with mechanics or electronics through work or school is preferred but not required

1 + years of IFE or avionics experience is highly preferred, but not required.

Repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines

A&P license preferred but not necessary with experience

Three-Five years plus experience in general aviation

Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various makes and models of general aviation avionics.

Complete all work and required sign-offs in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.

Release aircraft back to service after maintenance or inspections

Identify and report any unusual malfunctions to Chief Inspector

Assigns and delegates nursing care to team members in accordance with the patient’s needs and the capabilities of the team members.

Applies a working knowledge of electronic and electrical principles to maintenance and repair tasks, using common test instrument readings and alignment.

Must be skilled in the use of various types of common test equipment.

As skills progress, performs these duties without close supervision.

Soldering Certification. IPC J-STD-001 and ANSI/ESD S20.20.

Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.

Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.

At least one year of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment

At least one year of experience using hand tools such as drill press, hand drill, wrenches, threading machines, etc.

Prefer paper industry or related heavy industrial maintenance/construction experience

Experienced Journeyman (J1) Maintenance Mechanics – Electrical (Must have 3-5 years experience as a first class journeyman.)
