Overview Aircraft Line Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on aircrafts. They inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircrafts, as well as perform scheduled maintenance. They must be knowledgeable in aircraft systems and components, and must be able to identify and diagnose problems. They must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. They must be able to use hand tools and test equipment to diagnose and repair aircrafts. They must be able to use computerized maintenance systems to document maintenance and repairs. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of aircraft systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Ability to use computerized maintenance systems

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
• Previous experience in aircraft maintenance
