GS-07 Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Maintains knowledge of and complies with federal regulations associated with the Clinical Lab Improvement Act of 1988.

The supervisor reviews the work reports for the technical soundness and conformity to policy and established requirements.

Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.

Have in depth knowledge of security systems operation, functions, and wiring requirements

Knowledge of setup of Networking requirements for Routers, Switches, DVR’s, Network Components, WAP’s, etc.

Have tools and experience needed to terminate multimode fiber ends

Knowledge to calibrate advanced projectors and receivers for optimal video and sound

Minimum of 3 years of experience with security/AV installations required

Active Control4 Automation Programmer certification through SnapOne

Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.

ACT 3-6 months previous experience in an acute care facility, preferred.

ACT-Float 1-Year previous experience in an acute care facility, preferred.

NICU Department Minimum 2 years CNA experience, required. Pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of electronic charting, preferred.

Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certification, or

NDT Methods – Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to engage in ongoing learning and application of skills.

Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate information so that others will understand.

At least 5 to 10 years of NDT inspection experience highly preferred.

Conduct visual inspections on exposed pipelines prior to coating removal looking for evidence of coating failure.

Identify and evaluate pipeline integrity issues using the following NDT methods while following customer/company procedures:

Select, prepare, load, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing of pipeline integrity issues.

Interface and update regularly key project stakeholders including R&D (design), Manufacturing (process), Supplier Quality, Program Management and Product Management

Work with a cross functional team to manage quality in programs from concept to commercial execution

Drive I2M Quality in the assigned projects and escalates when necessary to the Integral Project Manager or the Product Quality Manager

Knowledge of product development, supplier quality or industrial quality, development quality tools

Experience with products combining mechanical and electrical systems

Acts as gatekeeper for New Product Development milestones

License or Certification required by statute or regulation

License or Certification required by the Department

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
