Overview Admission Registered Nurses are responsible for providing care to patients who are admitted to a hospital or other healthcare facility. They assess the patient’s condition, provide treatments, and monitor the patient’s progress. They also provide support to family members and other healthcare professionals. Detailed Job Description Admission Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing the patient’s condition upon admission to the hospital or healthcare facility. They will take vital signs, review the patient’s medical history, and perform physical examinations. They will also provide treatments and medications as prescribed by the physician. They will monitor the patient’s progress and provide support to family members. They will also communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient receives the best care possible. Job Skills Required Admission Registered Nurses must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to assess the patient’s condition and provide treatments as prescribed.
