A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Acute Care PRN job is a position in which a CNA provides care to patients in an acute care setting on an as-needed basis. The skill requirements for this job include excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The qualifications for this job typically include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid CNA certification, and a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures is also required. The experience required for this job includes experience in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support. The responsibilities of a CNA Acute Care PRN include providing direct patient care, assisting with treatments and procedures, and documenting patient care. The CNA must also be able to recognize changes in patient condition and report them to the appropriate healthcare provider.
