They assess the individual's needs and develop an individualized treatment plan that includes goals and objectives. They then implement interventions that are tailored to the individual's needs. ABA Therapists also provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of the individual's progress and modify the treatment plan as needed. Job Skills Required ABA Therapists must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with individuals with ASD and their families. They must be able to assess the individual's needs and develop an individualized treatment plan. They must also be able to implement interventions that are tailored to the individual's needs. Job Qualifications ABA Therapists must have a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field. They must also have experience working with individuals with ASD and their families. In some states, ABA Therapists must be certified or licensed.
