Job Qualifications ABA Therapists must have a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field. They must also have experience working with individuals with ASD and their families. In some states, ABA Therapists must be certified or licensed. Job Knowledge ABA Therapists must have a thorough understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and how to apply them to individuals with ASD.
