POSITION SUMMARY:

Admissions Representatives are responsible for recruiting applicants for admissions to the institution, in accordance with state laws and accreditation regulations and consistent with the highest ethical standards. They also are familiar with all aspects of the admissions process and will need to be able to discuss, in general, topics such as financial aid, program requirements, policies, and other general admission questions. Admissions Representatives regularly conduct interviews and auditions to determine the prospective students eligibility. They serve as an advocate for current students. You will work with domestic and international families/ students who attend our youth programs. We offer online and on- campus youth programs throughout the year.

Representative Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the industry, our programs, and our policies
• Attend training sessions, read notice emails from management. Stay on top of updates to programs, locations and admissions requirements.
• Acts as liaison to traveling representatives working with youth applicants.
• External expectations may include new student recruitment, community outreach, public information, and program-specific promotional events.
• Tracks and maintains recurring contact with prospective and applied students accurately in database software.
• Provides admission decisions when necessary per Direction of Youth Programs (based on age and experience for underage and level II applicants)
• Provides information and advising to students and families through phone, email, text, and face-to-face contact. Ensures engaging, positive, and personalized responses from team to students/families.
• Advising prospective students with the highest level of customer service while coordinating and facilitate consistent delivery of admissions services.
• Learning and implementing the policies dictated on how to properly use our internal tracking system (File Maker) in order to successfully service potential students and communicate with support staff.
• Working weekends and shifts that could range between the hours of 8am till 8pm.
• Travel as needed
• Other duties may be required as requested by management.

Experience, Education, Certification

• Experience working with kids under 16 years old
• Proven recruitment track record
• Posses a positive attitude and determined work ethic
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Valid drivers license required.
• Bachelors degree minimum.
• Experience working in an Art School
