Job Description

The Yard Driver is responsible for moving trailers in a safe manner to and from dock, hull trailers. The Yard Driver also performs sanitation and maintenance on equipment and surrounding areas and ensures the yard tractor is properly maintained and cleaned per OEM requirements to minimize downtime.

This position will be required to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and assist with any other duties assigned by the Regional Procurement Manager.

Required Skills

  • Heavy equipment experiences preferred.
  • Must be able to be trained in LOTO SOPs.
  • Must be able to be trained in operator level maintenance SOPs.
  • Truck driver experience preferred.
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. as necessary.
  • Yard spotting experience preferred.

The successful candidate must understand food safety responsibilities and should focus on them.
