POSITION SUMMARY

What you’ll be doing: We are hiring an X-Ray Tech to prepare our patients for and perform radiologic procedures, as well as assisting with other medical support as required by our clinicians. A typical day will include:

• Cleaning cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure
• Verifying condition of network and x-ray server
• Practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards
• Keeping an accurate log of exams performed, including documenting LMP and shielding
• Performing additional front and back-office duties as required by the daily operations of the clinic
• Preparing and performing x-rays within scope of practice

What you’ll bring to the table: A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as one of the following licenses: License for Radiologic Technologists, License for Practical Radiologic Technicians (Arizona only), Limited Medical Radiologic Technologists (Texas only); Non-Certified Technician (Texas only), or Basic Machine Operation (Florida only). We’d also prefer you to have prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic.

A few requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent and one of the following licenses:License for Radiologic Technologists (RT), License for Practical Radiologic Technicians (PTR) – ARIZONA ONLY, Limited Medical Radiologic Technologists (LMRT) – TEXAS ONLY, Non-Certified Technician (NCT) – TEXAS ONLY, or Basic Machine Operator (BMO) – FLORIDA ONLY.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
