ASSIST PHYSICIANS WITH PATIENT CARE
- Computer keyboarding skills to enter patient information into the NextGen and Canon systems.
- Use care with the digital imaging detectors and computer systems.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Attends education seminars as required to maintain Oregon license/ARRT
- Demonstrates excellent cultural competency skills with patients.
- Documents patient care through the NextGen EMR System.
- Ability to assist patient on/off X-Ray table.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of practice for a radiologic technologist and relating to the health field.
- Practices radiation safety techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient using ALARA.
- Processes and critiques requested images to assure proper quality.
- Performs x-ray in compliance with physician's requests, operating within state and federal standards.
- Ability to reach overhead and manipulate the controls for the X-Ray.
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience at an approved ARRT facility.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Required to be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintain a current Oregon license.

Please note that as Slocum is a healthcare organization, we are required by the State of Oregon to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations for staff in both clinical and non-clinical roles.
Primary duty includes but not limited to operating radiographic equipment to produce images of body for diagnostic purpose as directed by physician.
