***This position will be in Kansas City, MO***
Summary:
In accordance with instructions, specifications and standards, sets up and operates non-destructive testing equipment which shall include but is not limited to x-ray, fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle equipment, radiation gages and other related equipment necessary to the performance of the task
- Responsible for complying with applicable provisions of Article 19 Health, Safety, and Environment of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Packs, moves, and ships materials and parts
- Processes radiographs, recognizes and interprets all types of flaws, does film processing and reading
- Job requires proficiency in operation of all types of x-ray equipment
- Must be able to recognize and prevent film handling artifacts
- May check and top off lubricants as necessary
- May perform all necessary paperwork pursuant to the task
- May perform in-process inspection
YOU MUST HAVE
- U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain a security clearance
WE VALUE
- Two-year associates degree in X-Ray Technology
- Five years’ experience in X-Ray operations
- Ability to work 2nd shift
