About the Role:
As a VP of Business Development, you will identify and win new clients by attending relevant events, networking, and meeting with potential clients face-to-face. You will play a critical and active role in growing the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Originate and nurture business relationships at national and local events, industry trade shows, panels, and other venues where you can meet potential clients (Focus on a specific metro area).
- Present our client's unique value proposition tailored to the needs of our potential clients’ senior executives.
- Develop solid and long-lasting relationships with potential clients.
-Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that satisfy clients' needs and achieve their desired business outcomes.
- Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets and business goals.
- Understand and assist in managing and mitigating key risks through tactical plans and actions.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a sales/client solutions agent.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets (min. $1MM ARR) and client retention.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to the needs of our potential clients.
- Native English or fully bilingual (English).
- Experience selling nearshore IT professional services and/or services is definitely a plus.
