Temporary work from 9/10/2023 to 11/26/2023. Worker will examine and sort fleece according to quality. Will estimate the weight of fleece after processing. Separate locks of fleece and examine fibers for length, diameter, elasticity and color to determine quality. Examine fleece to determine presence of dirt, manure, straw, stains and moisture. Place fleece in container and mark wool grade on containers according to government standard or quality. Will also set up grading table and fleece containers prior to shearing and pack up grading table and fleece containers upon completion of shearing so everything is ready to move onto the next job site. Fleeces must continually be moving away from shearers so they can be kept separate, as they must be graded and examined individually. It is important that the wool grader and the sheep shearers work in cooperation with each other for the proper handling of the wool. .17cents/ewe/lamb, .34 cents/ram - Idaho and Utah. or \$11.66 hour in Idaho and \$11.27 in Utah.
