Job Description

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking Grader Operators to work at our Levy NYS Mill Services location in Blytheville, AR . The Grader Operator will operates a motor grader to maintain and repair roads within the plant.


Pay: $23-$27/hr
Shift: Day Shift, 4 on/4 off

Responsibilities
The Grader Operator will:
  • Complying with all safety regulations and policies
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Record keeping
  • Assisting maintenance personnel with repairs
  • Performing daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling and fueling
  • Finishing grading per specified elevations
  • Moving levers and depressing pedals to activate equipment
  • Monitoring any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions
  • Maintaining an even grade on the work surface
  • Meeting customer service expectations
  • Maintaining cleanliness of equipment
  • Leveling and grading roadways

Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate grader
  • Knowledge of materials
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write
