Welding Engineer And/Or Certified Welding Inspector (Cwi)

Weld-Seam, Inc. is a family own specialty fabrication company specializing in automated seam welding of sheets, cylinders, cones and special shapes. Weld-Seam also offers roll forming, planishing, shearing and magnetic shield welding. Our company is seeking to add a professional with extensive background in either Certified Welding Inspection, Quality Control / Quality Inspection or a Welding Engineer.

Requirements

Working Knowledge of Materials and Sheet Metal Understanding of PPAPs Understanding of Capability Studies and CpK Relevance Understanding Sampling Plans Working knowledge of Control Plans Knowledgeable in ISO9001, AS9100 and IATF16949 Standards and Corrective Actions, Non-Conformances and Preventative Actions Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel Good Mathematical Skills and Good Understanding of Geometry Problem Solving Mindset Good Communication Skills Knowledgeable in Internal Auditing Understands Calibration Able to Use Handheld Metrology Devices Knowledgeable in Blue Print Reading Knowledgeable in GD&T tolerances Knowledge of Welding Symbols
