Job Description

Responsible for the fabrication and welding of metal (primarily stainless steel) using sanitary 'TIG method' used in the brewery processes.

Essential Duties:

  • Inspect others work for compliance, take any corrective action needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Understand and implement lockout/tagout procedures in a safe manner
  • Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards
  • Develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications, and plan, lay-out, install and/or repair all types of piping systems utilizing all techniques and methods

Desired Skills/Experience (but not limited to):

  • Basic record keeping skills and abilities
  • Expert working knowledge, skills, and abilities in the welding and pipe fitting trade
  • Basic working knowledge of building codes
  • Solid skills and abilities in metal related work and blue print reading
  • The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
  • Ability to pull weights up to 81 lbs. and push 105lbs.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 180 lbs. (argon tank) and carry 40 lbs. up to100 feet.
  • High School Diploma with 2-5 yrs. of on-the-job experience and/or specialized training and education in the skills trades disciplines
  • A post offer/pre-hire assessment will be performed to insure the candidate can meet the physical requirements of the job:
    • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 180 lbs. (argon tank) and carry 40 lbs. up to100 feet.
    • Ability to pull weights up to 81 lbs. and push 105lbs.
    • Maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and ladders.
    • Must also show fine motor dexterity
    • Demonstrate ability to climb stairs, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead.
    • The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.00
