Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a WELDERS in the HUNTSVILLE/MADISON area . . Our client is a leader in complex solutions and intricate integration . They are focused on providing a high-quality product to the ir l ocal and international client base. The WELDERS are r esponsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of a WELDERS includes

• Performs minor layout and planning in relation to welding assignments
• Lays out, positions and clamps work, preheating metal and maintaining temperature to prevent distortion.
• Performs all assigned work in accordance with the requirements of MIL-STD-1595
• Reads and interprets blueprints and sketches to determine materials needed for welds
• Exercises considerable judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Determines the heat necessary, adjusts equipment, and manually maintains the proper speed, flame motion, tip angle and position of the welding flame to produce the desired pattern.
• Performs quality TIG, MIG, welding

Job Requirements Of a WELDERS

• Minimum five ( 5) years experience.
• Completion of an applicable welding course in trade school
• Must certify per MIL-STD-1595, D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6, D17.1
