Web & E-Commerce Content Operations Manager (Us)

Asurion is seeking a performance-driven Web & E-Commerce Content Operations Manager to join the growing web and content marketing team. As the company expands its direct-to-consumer digital presence, we seek a talented individual to drive operational excellence of content processes on our online properties. Success in this role requires not only well-developed website management and technical skills, but also excellent communication, a strong initiative, and demonstrated experience with cross functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and manage multiple workstreams and communicate expectations and progress to key stakeholders
• Be a subject matter expert on Contentful
• Build and develop relationships with key internal stakeholders, including UX/design, engineering, and product teams to plan and deliver on requested changes
• Identify areas of opportunity in systems and tools used to manage the customer experience and implement solutions to address the need
• Define and implement quality standards for cross-device support, accessibility, analytics, and other aspects to ensure the best possible customer experience
• Own and manage intake and end-to-end processes to satisfy all content requests to owned digital properties
• Communicate with stakeholders to coordinate updates and ensure all requests are delivered in a timely manner
• Set standards and ensure compliance for naming, structure, roles, and processes for all users of our content management system (Contentful)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience partnering with content writers and designers, as well as analytics, digital marketing and engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience as an expert user of a content management system. Working knowledge of Contentful or similar CMS preferred
• Ability to support multiple stakeholders/projects simultaneously and work in a very fast-paced environment
• Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, Javascript, accessibility, SEO, quality assurance, and server-side web technologies
• 4+ years of professional experience as a website manager or similar role with responsibility for content integrity and operations of a customer-facing digital property

Compensation for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors. This includes adjustments that may be made based on geographic location, business needs, and/or market demands, as well as a candidate’s education, training, and transferrable work experience.

The starting base pay range for this position is $95,000 annually with the potential for bonuses and we encourage candidates outside of this salary range to apply.
