Job Description

Tonies US is looking for a E-Commerce Merchandiser/Coordinator, who is passionate about delivering best in class digital customer experiences and journeys and bringing value to families across the US. The candidate will report directly to the E-Commerce Head of Product and should have a “start-up” mindset: entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and positive. The ideal candidate is excited to contribute to a best-in-class e-commerce user experience on tonies.com by helping customers find the products they need and have a frictionless user experience. The candidate’s effectiveness will be measured by KPIs such as, but not limited to: NPS (net promoter score), revenue, conversion rate and product in-stock rate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with social media updates including creating captivating content updates which highlight and enhance the brand story, editorial features, and event recaps.
  • Assist with landing page creation / maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Site Operations Manager or Ecommerce Head of Product
  • Manage online inventory in coordination with the sales team.
  • Assist with setting up online promotions/content on the tonies® site to support marketing calendar.
  • Serve as back up or to assist customer service team on an as needed basis.
  • Perform regular inventory audit to ensure products are live on the site.
  • Perform daily “walk the store” checks to ensure site is working as intended.
  • Assist with visual merchandising of the site to align with featured content and emails.
  • Provide insight into performance by category and shopping experience through metrics data.
  • Assistance with operations/fulfilment in coordination with the CS team (cancelled orders, address changes, out of stocks, exchanges, etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy of product information, inventory counts, pricing, and content
  • Work confidently in Google Sheets or other database programs to help sort through, report on, and analyse key metrics to help drive web performance.
  • Assist with catalogue / asset management of sales through 3rd Party vendors.
  • Assist with digital asset management processes and solutions.
  • Assist with management of catalogue and product data management: Enter all product information including prices and imagery, categorise products and merchandise on site using the Shopify and integrated PIM and CMS systems.


Requirements

  • A positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Must possess knowledge of Google Suite; experience with a website management tool is a plus.
  • Candidates should be passionate about ecommerce, digital, and products that enhance a child/family’s experience and trajectory.
  • Has great attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote environment; occasional travel for team gatherings.

This is a full-time position with occasional moments where non-core working hours are required to provide the best user experience on our website. This role will be on point to manage reasonable website merchandising needs and requests whenever tonies customers are shopping (e.g., including the weekend, evenings, and holidays). Available to collaborate with team members on EST and PT time zones.


Qualifications

  • Experience working in e-commerce platforms, Shopify a plus.
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ideal candidates are analytical, organised, proactive, and pay attention to details.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (including internships)
  • Must be hands on and can work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
  • Degree in Marketing, Fashion or business-related major or equivalent experience
