The Full-stack web developer will be part of the development team and play a key role on the team tasked with migrating the Blueprint OMS application to the next-generation technology platform.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation of reusable and scalable components, libraries, and frameworks that will drive our future projects.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications as needed, working closely with the team to deliver efficient solutions.
• Utilize expertise in React.js and front-end technologies to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends, actively sharing your knowledge and contributing ideas to improve our development process.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring exceptional performance across different devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with our cross-functional team, including the Business Analyst and other developers, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement server-side logic and seamlessly integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and databases.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles, responsive design, and CSS libraries like Bootstrap or Material-UI.
• Experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment and deliver high-quality code on schedule.
• Solid understanding of cloud (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) infrastructure and deployment (CI/CD).
• Must have 5+ years of experience writing modular and scalable code as a Full-Stack Web Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Solid understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs (RESTful API design).
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred

• Knowledge of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Firebase).
• Experience with additional front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of web security best practices.
