Web Designer (Freelance Or Fulltime)

BluShark Digital is seeking a creative and perceptive Web Designer to join our team to play a central role in building out visually stunning and effective website layouts, graphics, and user experiences. In this position you will be responsible for consulting on overall branding, and implementing best practices when it comes to web/UX design, SEO and research mockups. The ideal candidate is passionate about staying on top of the current design trends and technologies. The goal of this position is to help us build creative and engaging website experiences for our top tier clients.
Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present to clients
• Experience converting design in HTML and CSS
• Proficiency with graphic design, and full understanding of website design and search engine optimization
• Ownership mentality
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other web design tools
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure brand guidelines
• Ability to deliver high quality web design on a strict deadline
• Can provide a strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of website design skills

In our hiring process, each resume will be reviewed by our recruiting team. Selected candidates will participate in a quick, 15-minute phone interview, which is a great chance to make a positive first impression. We expect you will research a little about who we are and what we do prior to your phone interview. Candidates will be further reviewed, and top applicants will be invited for an interview. The final candidates will be invited back for a shadow, offering insight into the position’s day to day responsibilities.
