Warehouse Worker Jobs

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Part Time Warehouse Worker at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts 01608. This is a part time, event based position.
Position Summary
Stocks/rotates inventory at all locations on a daily basis
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation Laws, as well as safe transfer/storage procedures
• Reports any equipment repairs
• Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
• Rotates inventory practicing FIFO
• Perform simple and food prep/cooking tasks
• Removal of trash and maintaining clean floors in all concession areas
• Fills requisitions and enters transfers for all locations
• Receive and offload product from truck deliveries
• Maintains organized and clean storeroom and concessions locations
• Performs as needed, minor repairs or adjustments on machines using hand tools to correct malfunctions
• Maintains inventory and stock of all supplies at all locations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position requires the employee to regularly stand and walk throughout the shift. The employee will also consistently lift items.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Pallet jack and forklift experience preferred
• 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Degree and/or GED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to work flexible hours on weekdays, weekends, school vacations and holidays
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and product manuals
• Must be able to read, speak and write English
• Good language, mathematical and reasoning skills
• Must have professional attitude and appearance
