About This Position The Food Service Worker accurately and efficiently prepares a variety of food items in accordance with assigned work instructions and menus. This position also utilizes a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Order Paper, Cleaning, tools, & Food products based on menus
• Vision
• Stocks and organizes the warehouse.
• Reconcile weekly usage report
• Dental
• May be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as needed
• Experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment
• Support all deliveries to kitchens and orders
• Verify accurate counts of products and supplies

• Load and unload trucks as necessary.
• Support all deliveries to kitchens and orders
• Maintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food items
• Load and unload trucks as necessary.
• Order Paper, Cleaning, tools, & Food products based on menus
• Medical w/prescription coverage
• Conduct Inmate and staff training
• Oversee and Manage Drivers duties
• Conduct daily and weekly inspections of areas
• Reconcile weekly usage report
• Conduct daily and weekly inspections of areas
• Tool Control
• Conduct Inmate and staff training
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Schedule Preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Supervise and Direct Inmate Labor
• Ensure delivery Vehicles are inspected
• Stocks and organizes the warehouse.

• ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred
• Verify accurate counts of products and supplies
• Tool Control
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
• Schedule Preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Basic Life and Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
• May be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as needed
• Supervise and Direct Inmate Labor
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Maintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food items
• Benefit Credit received when enrolled in a TKC medical plan, to help offset your benefit costs. Benefit Credit of $750 annually, will be divided evenly among your paychecks throughout the Plan Year.
• 1 year or more experience in a food service role
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
