WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Our Distribution Center in Poplar Bluff, MO is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Manage 20-30 direct reports and have responsibility for performance management and day-to-day coaching
Key responsibilities (to name a few):
  • Ensure a safety-driven culture
  • Ensure policies and work practices are administered in a fair and consistent fashion
  • Provide daily direction to warehouse employees who perform work in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stocking, picking, packing and palletizing finished products; ensuring efficient operations and processes
  • Ensure a continuous focus is place on process improvement and reduction of waste
  • Communicate with staff and employees to drive alignment and consistency to goals and company objectives
  • Investigate safety related issues or violations
  • Empower and encourage employees to continually evaluate and improve daily processes
  • Manage performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and housekeeping expectations and driver personal accountability
  • Ensure expectations are clearly articulated, safe work practices are adhered to, and hold employees accountable for safety infractions
  • Address performance problems, recognition, and provide coaching where appropriate


ABOUT YOU
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Must be able to anticipate the needs of internal and external customers and is self-directed in achieving results
  • Must be able to use creativity to seek quality solutions and process improvements while keeping in mind the needs of the business
  • Must be able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to work any shift, as needed
  • Must be able to drive accountability, resolve conflict, and manage performance expectations
  • Must be able to resolve problems and troubleshoot
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to apply situational leadership techniques in a changing team environment
  • Must be able to communicate well, coach, lead, and empower people
  • Must be able to plan and organize work schedules

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety glasses and high-visibility vests are required in certain areas, and the list of PPE is not inclusive of all types that may be required.
