We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to our operations and requires an individual with a strong background in warehouse management, materials management, and inventory control. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will also ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Develop and implement warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; follow up on work results.
• Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Expert ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
• Certifications/training with ASCM or APICS – CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or 5S lean/six sigma.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a warehouse management position.
• 3+ years of experience in the Manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases (ERP, WMS).
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
