Job Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.
You will:
-Responsibility and authority as outlined in the Operational Procedures, Work -Instructions, GMP manual and all Instruction manuals.
  • Complete 360 training on time.
  • Responsible for reporting food and product safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Issues written and oral instructions/communications, including terminations when prescribed by policy manual.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.
  • Manage Kronos for direct reports
  • Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
  • Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
  • Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
  • Meet company and plant established objectives and measures.
  • Initiate action for food and product safety issues.
  • Manages work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Leads associates in recycling and waste management efforts
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
  • Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
  • Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as quality, production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
  • Directs salvage of damaged or used material.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
You have:
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
