Warehouse & Shipping / Receiving Parts Representative

Pacific Golf & Turf is currently seeking a Warehouse & Shipping/Receiving Parts Representative for our Portland, Oregon location. JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Sell parts for all associated product lines to customers by phone or walking into the store.
• Order parts from suppliers and communicate lead times.
• Arrange and manage freight shipments with outside freight companies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Receive parts that come into our facility from freight companies – document and verify quantities and condition.
• Fill parts requests for service technicians and salesman.
• Prepare parts for shipping.
• Help support safety policies.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, if needed – must be able to operate a forklift and get certification.
• Manage the warehouse for organization and cleanliness.
• Use computerized inventory systems, parts libraries, and cad drawings to look up and process parts orders.

KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers.
• Ideal applicant will have at least 1 year of work experience in warehouse & shipping/receiving.
• Knowledge of shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and shipping methods that are required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, is required
• Must be in good physical condition; you will be required to lift up to 50 pounds routinely during the course of your shift, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. This position will require lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, and pulling on a daily basis.
• Must have good computer skills.
• 1 year of parts department experience preferred.
• Must be an organized individual with attention to detail, that can multi-task.
• Forklift driving experience required.

Hourly, Full Time

Compensation: Wage $18 - $20 per hour DOE
