Warehouse Operator Jobs

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting hold area slabs, selecting slabs for fabrication, and moving slabs to the necessary line location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift as needed (minimal, no experience required)
• Participate in monthly inventory counts
• Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria warehouse work as outlined in the Warehouse SOPs
• Ensure that slabs are scanned correctly
• Sort slabs using an overhead crane and store them in the correct locations
• Conduct all job related duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Attend work daily, be punctual, and work the duration of a shift
• Communicate with Supervisor to keep him/her informed of material defects and inventory levels
• Keep work area clean and free of clutter
• Inspect the overhead crane daily
• Stage material to prepare for inspection of slab

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Sense of urgency in completing work
• Ability to become certified in using a forklift and an overhead crane
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to work as a team player

Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Warehouse Experience Preferred
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand on concrete for the duration of a work shift.
