Job Description

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

  • Shift: Monday - Friday Mid Morning, Afternoon, or Evening
  • Benefits: Health insurance, 401k Contributions, Paid Time Off, Vacation, STD/LTD
  • Pay rate: $70,800 - $101,000.

Accountabilities

  • Site Leader
  • Will oversee daily operations for 20-25 employees
  • Inventory Control
  • Overseeing all Inbound and Outbound responsibilities
  • EH&S responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years related experience preferred
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment preferred
  • Strong communication skills preferred
  • High school diploma required degree strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
  • Leadership skills

  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
