Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Material Handler in Madison, AL. The WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER is responsible in supporting the Quality/Inspection department performing entry level tasks focusing on the identification and marking of received parts with proper part numbers
Responsibilities Of a WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER Includes

• Supports the Quality/Inspection department performing entry level tasks focusing on the identification and marking of received parts with proper part numbers
• Ship parts to customers using documented packing instructions
• Process parts through receiving using the ERP system verifying all identifiable information is correct
• Examine and inspect items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
• Receive parts to be stocked in an orderly and accessible manner on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse
• When required assist and perform the following
• Perform scheduled cycle counts of selected inventory parts accurately, ensuring they are serviceable and packaged appropriately
• Assemble kits using existing inventory for production build of product
• Process part requests for production ensuring all parts are transacted correctly through the ERP system

Job Requirements Of a WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER

• Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Physical demands occasionally require employee to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
