The Warehouse Manager will manage and supervise the activities of Domino’s warehouse team members engaged in loading and unloading trucks and moving and storing materials/products. The Warehouse Manager will assign job tasks according to shipping schedules and train new team members in job duties to maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities include:

(50%) Manage Warehouse and Warehouse Sanitation Area

  • Maintain knowledge of external regulatory audit standards and procedures
  • Compile the warehouse portion of the weekly key indicator summary and other statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Ensure the department is continuously audited and 5’s ready
  • Maintain positive relationships with other departments and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. [production, warehouse, maintenance, and delivery and service
  • Ensure all PIT operators are adequately trained, and all SOPs are followed
  • Maintain a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements
  • Recognize potential problems and respond accordingly
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Oversee and identify items that can be recycled
  • Oversee housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area
  • Inspect warehouse equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and in good condition
  • Control departmental costs and prepare a budget for the Director's review
  • Ensure that all TDR (trailer-dock-release) policies and procedures are followed
  • Implement cycle counting and annual physical inventories using inventory system reports, inventory software, and count sheets to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Manage team member tasks and responsibilities to receive, store, and load food products and support goods by established company standards and procedures and within budgeted guidelines and dispatch accuracy goals
  • Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
  • Visit stores to monitor the quality of the product

(50%) Manage Warehouse and Warehouse Sanitation Team Members

  • Work with temp agencies
  • Maintain positive customer relations
  • Coach team members that are not meeting their performance goals, reward team members for good performance, complete performance appraisals on team members
  • Responsible for warehouse safety and accuracy
  • Rapid decision-making and deliberate planning for warehouse growth
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and Director
  • As needed, fills in as warehouse team member and performs tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals (these activities do not exceed 20% of total work time)
  • Direct salvage of damaged or used material
  • Facilitate a five-minute team member meeting daily to keep the team member informed of safety precautions, performance, policies, etc.
  • Attend Leadership & Development training sessions
  • Maintain warehouse supplies for daily needs and order supplies as needed
  • Mentoring team members
  • Validate and verify account payables
  • Validate and verify contracts
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train all new team members in various trainings, including safety, and minimize team member turnover
  • Review time clock punches, edit missing punches, and approve PTO request
  • Verify and validate timecards and manage the working schedule
  • Maintain a working relationship with COE departments, i.e., talent acquisition, finance, quality assurance, and safety

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work a full-time/flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and follow-through skills
  • Must successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain forklift certification
  • Willingness to support a 24-hour operation and be on call, including carrying an emergency cell phone as needed
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Proven experience in quality and safety
  • Knowledge of asset management procedures and information used to optimize inventory levels and fill rates
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to develop and lead team members in meeting goals and objectives
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment
  • Proactive and results oriented demeanor
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in distribution, warehouse, logistics, retail, or transportation. Some college plus equivalent work experience may be accepted. Preferably in the food, warehouse, manufacturing, or retail industry
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], extreme heat, and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary
  • Must be able to work around yeast and flour
