Job Description

Job objective: The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience in a manufacturing company managing receiving, inventory, shipping, and carrier management. In this role you will lead a team in managing the warehouse, create a growth strategy, plan and implement inventory layouts, lead operational changes and make process improvements. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the entire cycle from receiving, putaway, kitting, cycle counts and shipping. The ideal candidate should be business savvy, possess excellent organizational capabilities and problem-solving skills.


Duties

  • Support maturity in new ERP system to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure the physical condition of the warehouse is clean and organized
  • Improve overall efficiency, workflow and Implement process improvement initiatives
  • Develop agile and effective operational procedures that support material control and compliance with AS9100 D, and US Government Property requirements
  • Partner with procurement, finance, and manufacturing to resolve issues, and deliver required materials in a timely manner
  • Lead the daily operations of warehouse including receiving, inventory management and control, kitting, loading and shipping
  • Propose and implement strategies to reduce costs
  • Document daily deliveries, archive packing slips, certificates of conformance and other supporting documentation and shipments for accurate record keeping
  • Develop inventory metrics and present to leadership on monthly basis on inventory performance
  • Perform cycle counts and audits to validate shelf-life storage, inventory accuracy, kit process, traceability and unique locations
  • Provide direction to inventory and warehouse team in receiving, put away process, kit pull and distribution and shipment of material
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to move, stand, reach and lift up to 25lbs
  • US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required)
  • Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory logistics, manufacturing, material planning, procurement, or engineering
  • Exposure to US Government Property requirements
  • Working knowledge of Inventory Control
  • Experience with ERP systems

Desired Qualifications

  • BS degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain or 8+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Forklift, pallet jack and general material handling experience
  • AS9100 D process development
  • Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Experience with management of high value and environmentally sensitive Electronics components
  • Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
  • Proven success in building strong teams and working with internal customers/stakeholders
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:

$71,000—$137,000 USD
