Position Summary: Warehouse
Responsibilities will include loading and unloading semi-trailers, packing and unpacking, general housekeeping, inbound processing, shipping and receiving. In order to perform the job duties of this position the operation of powered equipment such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift is essential.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work productively in a team environment and assist in any areas or operations as assigned
• When palletizing the cases, ensure that the cases are correctly stamped, dated, and closed
• Organize and prioritize responsibilities to ensure efficient operations
• Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the company
• Follow all company rules and regulations for biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Ensure all pallets and racks are wrapped securely
• Load/unload trucks with pallets of shell eggs, cartons, and boxes for the shell eggs
• Check paperwork before unloading, counting all items to make sure they match the paperwork
• Record information according to instructions
• Inspect all items for damage and report any damage immediately
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Attend meetings, training, and educational classes as required
• Keep coolers, dock, and warehouse clean and organized (wash trucks, sweep floors, etc.)

Job Requirements

• Able to follow spoken and written instructions in English
• Some general warehouse and warehousing procedures experience preferred
• Experience in a food processing plant preferred
• Bi-lingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
• Able to perform all aspects of this job (repetitive movements, standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds
• Forklift experience (Sit down/Stand up) preferred
• Able to work a flexible schedule, which will include weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Experience loading pallets on semi-trailers
• Ability to fill out load sheets and invoices correctly
• Proficient with electronic pallet jacks
• Reliable and dependable work ethic

The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires the strict daily adherence to established biosecurity processes and procedures before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear coverings are provided by the Company. All employees are required to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). All employees are required to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
