Warehouse Associate Jobs

Abatix is looking for a new Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse team member is responsible for all shipping and receiving functions including properly preparing bills of lading, pulling inventory, and checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. He/She shall be aligned with and support the overall goals and objectives of the entire company and actively provide input and support throughout the company. Ensures Abatix is represented in a positive manner.

:

• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner
• Pick and pack orders
• Receive and pick orders for customers
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover and facility
• Count stock items and record data into computer system
• Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Assist customers with loading merchandise

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
• A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
• Ability to complete certifications for forklifts and delivery vehicles (if necessary)
• Willingness to be a team player and take on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
• Ability to use FedEx and UPS online systems
• Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED certificate from a certified institution
• 2+ years of warehouse experience in a wireless environment
