Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for hands on operations in the production center. Ensures all specifications are produced in the most cost effective manner within our quality control standards. Must be a team player. Must maintain adherence to all sanitation standards and procedures as dictated by local, state and federal authorities and as monitored by the LSF managers and Quality Assurance Department.
  • Must be able to perform duties as assigned and maintain good work habits
  • Inventories goods in warehouse to confirm amounts available and what needs to be ordered
  • Ensures adherence to procedures, including GMP requirements, food safety, and plant personnel safety
  • Consistently maintain product quality and integrity
  • Process daily invoices for Accounting department
  • Pick all orders for product from restaurants and fills orders for restaurants and Wholesale department
  • Must be respectful of others and the surroundings
  • Reliable; able to work in a team oriented environment
  • Stocks warehouse shelves with dry goods
  • Solid communication skills Qualifications Must work with safety as a priority Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe. Must be able to frequently lift and carry food, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate cold temperatures for long periods of time. Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers, managers and supervisors.
  • Creates purchase orders
  • Complete all daily lab inspection forms
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with paperwork as needed
  • Matches invoices with purchase orders to ensure accurate billing
  • Must display working knowledge of methods, safety practices, sanitation standards and equipment use
  • Performs quality control checks to ensure standards are met
  • Receives orders for dry goods when delivered to QCC
  • Packs and ships all fly out orders
  • Ensure that product rotates out using the First In, First Out rule
  • Inputs the inventory weekly
  • Places orders to outside vendors
  • Makes sanitation a top priority
  • Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company standards, communicating inferior products or procedures.
  • Ensures products are produced according to specifications
  • Fill all interdepartmental requests for product
