Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services is seeking a Shipping Associate!

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of all customer orders. Shipping associates will work safely by staging materials on carts.

Position Details:

• Wage: $17 / hour
• Work week and shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30 pm)
• Bonus: $1500 Sign on Bonus offered for this position, eligibility discussed during interview.
• Plant location: Winston-Salem, NC

What You Will Do:

• Works from process and specifications sheets
• Performs simple hydraulic and electrical checks to ensure the proper function of assembled equipment
• Utilizes TPM tools improve safety, efficiency, increase service to our customers and reduce cost
• Proactively communicates maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to the appropriate leader
• Accurately processes necessary paperwork related to labor reporting and record keeping
• Performs assigned re-manufacturing operations including disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, polishing, inspection and re-assembly
• Assembles light mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic components to exact specifications
• Other duties as assigned
• Assists in training teammates
• Ensures constant communication with management on daily activities and losses

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
• Ability to read, write, do math, communicate, and follow instructions in English
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds
