Responsible for receiving and issuing inventory, tooling and equipment. Responsibilities: Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be kitted and or shipped Perform material staging, kitting, HAZMAT handling, and material distribution Issues tools and equipment to technicians and maintains records of tools & equipment issued and returned. Locates lost or misplaced tools & equipment. Maintains inventory of tools & equipment Assist and perform cycle counts-inventory of material and tooling Document and verify counts of inventory requested on Purchase Orders, receive into accounting system Visually inspect incoming and outgoing products and tooling for damage or flaws; document and report damages to supervisor Pack, seal and label materials/pallets for shipping Organize & maintain a clean warehouse Performs simple, routine work; Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction; Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Any deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor/manager Requirements: Must have High school diploma, GED, or equivalent field work experience Must be 18 years of age or older Must be Eligible to work in the United States Must have clean driving record to comply with VADOT regulations Proven ability to work in a warehouse/storeroom environment where occasional lifting of up to 50lbs Minimum 1-year experience in a warehouse environment Must be able to work independently and as a group Must be able to operate basic hand tools Must be able to differentiate colors in order to identify/ repair fiber optic cables and copper cables. Must be computer literate and detail oriented. Tool repair experience preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions provided in written or oral form Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and other co-workers in both one-on-one and small-group situations Must be able to pass Forklift certification Ability to work out of both VA warehouses Good communication skills Team player Demonstrate ability to comprehend complex problems and formulate a solution with the full understanding of the solutions implications Must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to have a pleasant, courteous, and professional appearance and approach in dealing with customers No relocation offered. kSARIA is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabilities/Veterans PI220296955
