Warehouse And Logistics Operations Specialist

Our client is an importer of food products from around the globe. We are looking to hire a

Warehouse and Logistics Operations Specialist to manage staff in the warehouse in the Buford GA area, handle the logistical operations regarding the importation of food products and the coordination of containers arriving at the port of entry, and the shipment of goods to various USA warehouses for processing. A college degree is desired but not required. Must have at least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.

Other desired qualifications:

• Familiar with inventory control practices and logistics
• Exceptional Time management and organizational skills
• Physically fit to withstand long hours of standing and walking.
• Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem solving and strategic planning
• Forklift operation certified
• Must be responsible and reliable
• Excellent leadership skills, be able to set goals, motivate staff, and manage conflicts
• Great interpersonal skills and command of the English language (bilingual in Spanish would be a plus)
• Able to use inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.
