Vp Software Engineering **Dubai Based**

Our client, a rapidly growing security & privacy organisation, is looking to hire a CTO to help build their vision of holistic security for consumers & prosumers. This role requires relocation to Dubai.

Working with the brightest minds and reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be managing the innovation as well as team building & cultural aspects of the engineering org as the overall leader. We are looking for people who bring an energetic and creative approach to work, and understand the burning Cyber Security and Privacy questions of today with a good vision of the future.

Responsibilities

• Own & continuously explore the future trends of AI, Web3, IoT, Smart home, CyberParenting, AR/VR and 5G to co-author the strategy for brand building, acquisition advantages and long-term user retention.
• Establishes our brand as a market leader through thought leadership in communities, white papers and research.
• Lead the architecture design and technology stack and works closely with counterparts of large-scale technology partners to devise optimal solutions based on their end-user needs.
• Research & partner with the Product and UX teams to find the best technologies to materialise the End to End security & privacy offering, across the entire user device ecosystem, in the most integrated & simple UX possible.
• Evangelize and develop customer centricity, quality-at-the-source, speed & agility within the engineering organisation.
• Working closely with the InfoSec leadership, ensure Security and Privacy by design as a key characteristic of our offerings.
• Make the technology available through SDKs & APIs to be able to OEM (white label) our technology to our current and future enterprise partners.
• Partner closely with Growth leaders to research and develop freemium tools & products within security & privacy ecosystems that can help with user acquisitions to be converted into the premium holistic security & privacy product that you’d be developing in parallel.
• Help organisation secure patents where cost-benefit analysis supports, helping with org valuation and USP.

Technical Experience

• 12+ years of experience building technical software products; with at least 3 of those years as a manager of an engineering team of 40+
• Previous end-to-end product launch experience and scaling products to millions of consumers & prosumers (SMBs).
• A history of scaling tech teams and products with a passion for mentoring your direct reports in both technical achievement and career growth.
• Strong technical background, playing the roles as Architect / Principal Engineer.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial acumen, grit, and a deep appreciation for quality.
