Vp Of Information Technology

Labconco, a manufacturer of Laboratory Equipment, is hiring for a VP of Information Technology. This member of our Executive Leadership will head Enterprise Technology efforts by developing, planning, and implementing an IT strategy that supports key business functions and delivers optimal return on investment. Partnership and alignment with both internal and external business partners will be critical to enable success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and manage development programs for associates within the department
• Ensures compliance with any regulations that apply to Enterprise systems operations
• Maintain key Technology vendor relationships and contracts
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Develops and implements the IT budget, including business case development and cost / benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
• Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals
• Authorize and oversee the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all hardware and software to adequately support the companies computing, data processing and communications needs
• Identifies new IT developments and technologies and subsequently benchmark, analyze, report and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and systems
• Establishes long-term IT needs and plans and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs
• Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university together with 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
