Job Summary
- Bachelor's Degree in business, health care administration, or related field required
- Certification or Licensure in at least one skilled trade
- Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, be a team member and educate others, relate to all levels of the organization, comprehend complex and technical subjects, create and motivate behavior changes, translate financial and technical language to lay audiences, and plan, implement, and monitor processes in a complex health care environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of facility and engineering in hospitals and healthcare organizations,
- In-depth understanding of the key issues that exist in the health care facilities and engineering related to efficiency, reliability and durability.
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and their application to a large healthcare system.
- Knowledge of process analysis and design.
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in managing facilities and engineering in a large healthcare system.
- Proven experience in direct management and accountability for large scale global team
- Proven skills in interpersonal relationships, planning, organizing, and follow-up, budget preparation and monitoring, and management and leadership. Developed and managed data center mission critical environments (N 1 or greater)
- Experience with energy management systems hardware and software including the ability to integrate and develop more efficient and cost effective solutions
- Demonstrated broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical, chemical and architectural engineering skills with a detailed understanding of regulatory requirements across global geographies
- LEED Accreditation or ability to become accredited within 6 months of hire date, if necessary
- At least 5 years of direct management responsibility for facilities, engineering and real estate.
- Specific experience with energy system upgrades and management is preferred.
