Vp - Communications & Marketing(Hedge Fund)

Our client is a prominent, well respected Alternative Asset Management firm currently seeking to add a talented VP/Director Communications & Marketing. Ideal individual will be responsible for the management and positioning of firm's brand and reputation, as well as the development and execution of strategic programs that support the growth of the firm across the market.

Responsibilities

• Devise strategic communication plans and campaign development, brand messaging, digital experience, consumer research, and both proactive and reactive media relations, as well as develop key external spokespeople to further propel the leadership position for Firm
• Serve as the lead for external communication initiatives for Firm
• Oversee Marketing, particularly with the content strategy and campaign teams, to create and support high profile, multi million dollar creative and innovative product marketing activations
• Assist in organizing and structuring marketing team’s internal communication efforts with sales managers, internal desk managers and intermediary distribution organization’s leadership team.
• Manage firm’ brand message across digital channels, including the global website, digital advertising and social media, as well as manage external agencies in the production and distribution of content and advertising creative.
• Manage firm’s social media channels and paid social media activations
• Improve and refine processes for creating marketing collateral by identifying and addressing gaps to ensure a consistent level of sophistication
• Write content (i.e. blogs, emails, social media, ad/web copy and press releases) to increase product awareness and education among the retail investor community.
• Develop marketing materials that highlight the firm’s competitive strategies outside of standardized performance including relative peer rankings, risk-adjusted returns, and market performance. This role will be responsible for continuously enhancing the vision for client operations process to reflect evolving needs of firm clients

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Modeling Formulas
• Innovative and creative thinker
• Experience producing content for broad multi-media distribution
• Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5+ years of Financial Services/Private Equity/Investment Banking experience or similar
• Must be detail oriented
• Technical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), Excel, PowerPoint
