Overview - Virtual Team Coach Program (vtc)


VTC’s do not provide therapy, counseling, or any diagnostic services to or on behalf of students. Instead, after successfully completing mandatory software and instructional training and acting with the supervision and support of company leadership, the VTC supports our mission to understand and improve emotional health to enhance every child’s ability to succeed in school, career, and life.


  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This company does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
  • To be considered for employment, candidates must successfully complete three (3) paid training sessions that meet the Program standards established by TEAMology. The company reserves the right to extend employment offers to top candidates who complete the training. Upon employment, any additional, periodic training required of employees by the company will be offered on a paid basis.
  • This job is a remote work opportunity for Pennsylvania residents who can work from their home office. The company is not hiring for remote out-of-state home office opportunities at this time; however, that could change in the future.
  • Due to projected growth, TEAMology has immediate openings for several awesome new team members to work beginning at 8:00 EST and ending at 3:30 EST on Friday. Each VTC works with the Director of Coach Development to set their weekly work schedule in that window, offering maximum flexibility. These are paid part-time positions.
  • $15/hour - $20/hour. Pay is commensurate with experience and performance.


Examples of VTC Job Duties:


  • Keeping appropriate coaching notes.
  • Writing feedback reports to submit to school liaisons to provide a general overview of each student coaching session.
  • Creating reports based on screening and assessments.
  • Co-facilitating classroom lessons through the online platform.
  • Providing accurate and timely information from each student coaching session to TEAMOLOGY leadership to communicate when a student might need further assistance
  • After completing basic training, use the TEAMOLOGY platform to provide 30-minute virtual coaching sessions to support student’s social and emotional wellness. VTC’s do not provide therapy, counseling, or any diagnostic services to or on behalf of students.


When We Look at Inviting Someone New to Join Our Team, these are a Few Things that Matter to Us:


Successful candidates must be self-motivated, accountable, and possess the following attributes:


  • Organized and pays attention to detail.
  • Some direct experience working with children of elementary and/or middle school age.
  • Comfortable using innovative technology to transform social, emotional, and mental wellness.
  • Must demonstrate command of written communications, including mastery of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and tone.
  • If hired, the company will provide access to their proprietary software. As a condition of employment, candidates must have confidential, ready access to a computer, tablet, or other device to conduct coaching sessions using the company’s software; smartphone access does not meet this requirement.
  • Excited about high-quality, short-term coaching to support student’s social and emotional wellness in schools.
  • Must have completed or be enrolled in a B.A or B.S. degree program from an accredited institution of higher education focusing on the disciplines of psychology, education, social work, or an equivalent field of study. Graduate Degree or active progress towards a Graduate Degree in psychology, education, or social work disciplines is very highly desired.

  • Passionate about continuing to learn and grow and collaborating with the TEAMology team.


Other Requirements:


  • If hired, must adhere to all organizational policies and procedures and other prescribed best practices/industry standards.
  • Background checks/clearances will be conducted (e.g. criminal/child abuse history, etc.). Candidates must provide three (3) references for employment consideration. Results of background checks, clearances, and references must be satisfactory to the company at its sole discretion.


The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional home office setting; The individual is constantly required to talk, hear, stand, or sit for extended periods of time while using a computer, telephone, or other productivity devices to communicate with other personnel, clients/customers/students and conduct business. While performing the duties of this job, the individual may occasionally be required to reach with their hands and arms. The person in this role must frequently use their hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects and computer keyboards. The person in this role is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, squat, turn/twist, and smell. They must also be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds and/or occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
